I cannot begin to thank all the wonderful people who came out and shared their stories and love of Alex yesterday! My heart will be warmed forever. And a special thank you to Shoreline Brewery for the wonderful food and beer they provided, you guys rock! Thank you, thank you! Celebration of Alex's Life Party at our shop in town after that, Sunday evening. Graveside services, 11 am Monday, February 29th at St. Nicholas Cemetery, W Higgins Rd. The Drag Racing family lost a big personality today - our dear friend Brian Olson has passed after his motorcycle accident last month.

His larger than life presence will be sorely missed at the track.

Alex was at the shop for the first time since his surgery today to meet a new customer, Scott, who was looking for some Caltracs and some shocks.

Though his time over the next few weeks will still be very limited there, he is feeling better, and the healing is really starting to kick in. Still completely non-weightbearing for three more weeks, but we are over halfway there. Please be patient as he is just now starting to get back on the computer some and return some emails.

But he is getting a little more time upright now, and will be back at it soon. So our Alex had surgery yesterday to fuse his ankle so he could eventually walk much more comfortably.

It was a very intensive and fairly long procedure but they were able to keep it outpatient. He is doing really well all things considered! Due to this, his time at the shop will be very limited for the next probably month or so. BUT - his son Tony was able to take some time from his busy life and help out, allowing us to keep the shop open!! So keep calling Moneymaker Racing - a different Denysenko will answer the phone for you. Alex is still a phone call or email away as well.

And we hope he will feel up to getting back at the shop within the next weeks, with a new spring to his step! John Calvert's win over Chris Holbrook - watch Holbrook in the right lane, his wheelstand lasts forever but costs him a chance to win the race. Check out this final in the Ford Performance Cobra Jet Shootout between John Calvert and Chris Holbrook. Moneymaker Racing lost one of it's team members on Friday.

Our Head of Security, Neko, passed on. He was a wonderful dog, always supportive, especially of his Beth. We were thankful he was able to spend most of Monday at the shop with the boys.
