And out of all the guns I brought on that range trip, including my SCAR, my AK, and my BLK AR, they liked this one the best. Even I have to admit, the pistol grip does add a bit of extra comfort when firing the gun. However, with my massive hands, I had a bit of an issue gripping the rifle. It felt like the grip was just a touch too small, and was cramping my hand.
I chalked it up to the chunky latch mechanism eating into the available space for the handgrip. As for the folding stock, it does decrease the overall length of the rifle, but the barrel is still the longest part by far.

I believe that this has to do with the definition of a rifle being fired from the shoulder, and you cant shoot a folded stock from the shoulder.
Not a problem for me since I use a Volquartsen muzzle brake on it. Really like this stock. SBR that with a integral suppressor.
I wish they made a version with the full stock like the Butler Creek folder. Alas, I live in a state that is convinced a folding stock will allow me, somehow, to threaten the public. Or, more accurately, the Ruling Class. How is the length of pull compared to the factory stock? I find that the factory stock is way too long for smaller framed women and kids. I was looking at maybe modifying an ATI adjustable stock but it would be nice to buy something that fits out of the box.
Used to be a video that detailed the build but was taken down in the last couple months. Boils down to removing pin from stock catch so that the rear stock slides back and forth. Then remove handgrip and attach it to the stock with a cheap piece of metal bar. Essentially an el-cheapo slidefire.
They look fun but would be worthless in Kalifornia.
Aside from the whole 10 round mag limit, a shooter would guaranteed catch a case from using it. But everyone keeps talking about paying to convert it into an SBR to make it smaller. Can you still fit the receiver in the bag?
This is kinda an odd one, but how different is firing a gun like this with a pistol grip from one without one? Any reason to have one on a plinker? Pistol grip instead of monte carlo grip Q.
